Shopping Spree !"
Well, I've been shopping today, I haven't been to the Qvc outlet at Warrington for ages, so thought today I'd have a drive over for a nosey. It's always rather hit and miss shopping there, but i have picked up loads of stuff over the years. Today was a good day, although there was still quite a lot of tat that I can't see they are ever going to sell :)
This first kit is a "Minds Minds Eye" one, Abbey Road, as you can see, it has p/papers, brads, ribbon and some die cuts, and I paid £4.99, It is lovely, and as I know i'm going to struggle to use it, as it's soo lush, I did pick up two of them. (One pack had an extra set of ribbons as well)
This next one I did wonder about as Blue and Yellow isn't really my thing, but for £2.99 I thought the brads, flowers and ribbon were worth it on there own :) Its all Bo Bunny, but they seem to be from different sets. The papers are "Shabby Princess", but the stickers, brads and ribbon are all "Cottage Kitchen".
This artist trade kit was £3.99, I don't really do artist trading cards, but I quite like a lot of the vintage looking images, so thought I could make use of it.
Really pleased with these, I got 2 Dark Room Door stamps (110mmx155mm or A6 Sized) they were £3.99 for the pair. I've got some Kling on stashed away so these will soon be in use. I Love large background stamps they can be so useful to add texure and depth.
More La Blanche Stamps and some printed papers, £2.99, as you might have seen on this blog, I do use my La Blanche stamps quite a lot, so was really pleased to find these. I did see these ages ago on Qvc, but they were quite dear just for 2 stamps so I didn't get them then.
This was my dearest item at £8.26, but I really liked the lovely bright papers and lovely sticker sheets, It also has a small packet of clear stamps. Its all Bella BLVD, by Stephanie Hunt.
Overall really pleased today, haven't spent a fortune, but came away with a bag bursting with goodies :) Just got to organise myself into using it now, Hope this is useful to someone, if you live near, they did have quite a lot of stock of most of this stuff. Wx

Babys Mobile
This was a mobile for my God daughter's first birthday. Thought it might be a bit more entertaining than a card. The stamps used here where a selection of Kanban ones, stamped onto patterned papers which were layered and then glittered. Quite enjoyed making these, but the colour has gone a bit funny on my camera, so sorry they are a little grey in parts. Thanks for looking, Wx

More cards :)
Well I'm at that time of the year when I have a month with loads of family birthdays, so I have a card making queue developing. The first card today, I made with the stamps I bought a couple of days ago, nothing too fancy, just cut out, layered and shaded with my promarkers. I added a bit of foil and sakura sparkle to the detail of the collar and crown. Used a natural recycled card as a base, which was a first for me. The quality wasn't great, would have liked it a little thicker, but it was fine to work with. I added a bit of texture with "Swiss Dots" embossing file, and then layered some lovely lace, and some bits and pieces cut on my Robo. Finally a couple of sentiment circles to finish. The second one was a really quick one, a couple of handbags, stamped and embossed in black, mounted on a nice black and white pp, bit of ribbon and brads to finish. Thanks for looking :)

Valantines Day Card
Well, i'm a couple of weeks late sharing this, but as I was blogless at the time, I hope you will forgive me. This was my DH's card on Valentines Day. I've been playing around with my Craft Robo again lately since Craft Robo have merged with Silhouette. Thought I'd try the new software, must admit I'm really liking it, however the download section is fatal. I just had to have the owls when I saw them on there, and then had to think of some way of using them. I cut the owls out of some papermania pearlised cardstock. I used three different shades of card stock for the different sections of owls. I then used a cotton bud to add distress inks to the edges of all the little shapes, ( This was a bit annoying and time consuming, but it does make a difference to the owls shape) Then layered them up with some silicone glue. The "Love Birds heart" was also cut on Robo, then again layered with some more card and patterned paper. I added some wire to the back of two of the owls as I wanted them to move a bit. overall I'm quite pleased with the result, you've got to be in a patient mood to have a go as it is a little
awkward. Hope you like !

Birthday Card
Sharing a birthday card I made for my Nan with you today. My favorite La Blanche background stamp gets more use again, it's just so versatile, can't stop myself using it :-) The main decorations are free hand machine embroidered onto a couple of layers of organza, then cut out using my soldiering iron. It does rather stink when you are cutting out with it, but it does a really good job of stopping the fabric from fraying. Also used a couple of grey board squares to mount the butterflies on, which have been covered with some patterned papers. Just some lace trim to finish, Lovin lace trim as well at the moment. Still debating trying to make some lace myself, more research needed before I try that though!

Some more of my Cj entries for the Artie Fartie Cj on Ukscrappers :) More of my fav Paperartsy Stamps, Still lovin birds. Hand made flowers made from card, fabric and buttons.
Also some stash goodies from the range yesterday, The stamps were £2 each, but also 3 for 2, so seemed a good deal. Think I've got a brad obsession, so had to have these brads when I saw them for £2, Really loving fabric covered ones, thinking I might try to make a couple into some rings to wear.
Thanks for looking Ren,x
